This summer I have made the girl's nighties and pajamas. It is so hard to find lovely cotton nightwear for children and with so many lovely fabrics to buy they are a cinch to make. For the nighties, I used the same pattern I used Kate's apple top, but just lengthened it.
I love the trim on Kitty's pants, I teamed them with a lace trimmed singlet that I picked up at the end of last summer. Ella's pants are for slightly cooler nights.
Simple and sweet, just the way little girls should be.

These are just absolutely gorgeous!! I want to run out tomorrow and get fabric for Summer nighties - just divine!
Ah....the old Hills Hoist...the wooden pegs....the lacy frills....love it!
ahhh thats what I've been wanting to make in cotton...all nighties that I find are made in stretchy cheap fabric that I know will pill and look pretty daggy after a while!
great inspiration...thanks!
